Release Day for Good Luck, Bad Luck

Yesterday I got a knock at the door and was excited to see the postman had left me a parcel! It's such an overwhelming feeling opening the parcel to see the book you've worked on for over ten years in your hands - it's real.

Today is the official release day for Good Luck, Bad Luck. It's been a fantastic journey and I'm proud to have finished the novel and accomplished a dream I had since I was in primary school. I do hope to extend the Three Kingdoms world in 2021. I have an academy style series planned that takes place at the Sorcery Academy as well as a standalone prequel that is about the Great War that is mentioned in this book.

I think with this novel it's been a huge learning curve, both writing and putting it all together. I will admit the formatting drove me to tears a couple of times but I am really happy with my title page and chapter headers.

While I am celebrating this milestone I am also moving onto the next one. I've mentioned a few projects I have ongoing at the moment but my next release will be a young adult paranormal romance short story that has been accepted into an anthology. I can't say much more about that until the publisher officially announces but I will say my story has an absolutely gorgeous cover!
